Risk Assessment

There are three different locations where we need to assess risk.

OGDEN WATER

Here there are risks of:
-falling on loose ground
- slipping on steps
- falling when sitting on benches

To minimise these risks we have asked our actors to wear shoes with good grip as due to the varying weather it is likely that wet leaves or loose mud may cause a fall. We have decided to test the strength of benches that our actors may sit on to make sure they are sturdy and not slippery from rain or moss.

CAR

There are obviously a lot of hazards possible with driving and so Beth is going to film and hold the camera, instead of positioning the camera and balancing it on the dashboard, so I can concentrate on the road. Multi tasking in the car would be dangerous and close to impossible.

SCHOOL

We are filming in the toilets and need to be careful the floor isnt slippery. We also need to be aware of other people around us when filming with props for example bursting a water balloon and ensuring to do this outside so we dont leave a slippery area.

Other than this any risks will only be apparent on the day of filming and we will deal with these approrpriately when they arise.
